Where: General Motors ITC Garage—
East Side of Rt. 31 between
Lincoln & Boulevard. Follow signs.

Why: Raise funds to continue to provide services to the under-resourced in the greater Kokomo area. KUO services include: food pantries, cooked meals, children’s programs, Baby College, Seasonal Outreach, Computer classes, GED Classes, Scouting and ArtReach.

How Can Volunteers Help: Sign Up……Volunteers; Call Up……Individuals and Businesses for Donations; Pick Up……Donated Items; Set Up……Tables & Auction Items; Hold Up……Items During Auction; Serve Up … Concessions; Clean Up……After Auction; Donate Concession Food (Hotdogs and baked goods)Donate Auction Items (suggested Items on the reverse.)

Auction Items may be dropped off at the GM IT Garage

Complete list of volunteer needs

Drivers w/ Trucks (individuals with trucks who are able to pick up larger donations the week prior to the auction)
Receivers of Donations and Set-up (individuals to work 2 hour shifts the week prior to the auction receiving donations)
Runners (individuals to work 2 hour shifts moving items, delivering tickets, and generally helping as needed)
Administration (individuals to work 2 hour shifts the day of the auction in areas such as registration of bidders, and other needs of the auctioneer and KUO Staff, help write thank-you notes after the auction)
Traffic Control/Parking (Individuals to help traffic flow and park cars the day of the auction)
Area Coordinator (Individuals to supervise volunteers on the day of the auction)
Auctioneer Assistant (individuals to work 2 hour shifts the day of the auction helping to displaying the items up for bid.)
Concession Workers (individuals to work 2 hour shifts the day of the auction preparing, serving and cleaning up the food)
Bake Sale (individuals to work 2 hour shifts the day of the auction selling and cleaning up the baked goods)
Clean-Up (individuals to work at the conclusion of the auction to take care of cleaning up the GM Building)
